Live Recommendations for Sunday, February 26, 2006

MOISTBOYZ

Moistboyz featuring Dickie and Mickie Moist (Dean Ween of Ween), Wineskin - Knitting Factory Main Space $10/$12:
If I had to pick only one show tonight, I’d probably just stay home, but if I was forced to pick only one show tonight, it’d be Moistboyz. Dean Ween’s always been one of the meore bizarre, creative, and talented musicians around - totally under-rated - and here he gets to just pain rock. If you don’t get the joke, you just shouldn’t go, but if you do, you’ll be there.

Also recommended:

Sunday Cavalade with the Mad Scene: Finean McKean, The Mad Scene - Cake Shop $5
Human Feel Reunion: Jim Black, Andrew D'Angelo, Kurt Rosenwinkel & Chris Speed - Tonic 8 PM
Anat Forte Trio – The Stone 8PM $10
Valentin Silvestrov "Drama" for Violin, Cello and Piano – The Stone 10 pm
Vijaay Iyler Quartet - Jazz Standard
