all of the young folks are getting down with psychedelic music,
I hope they somehow locate Bardo
Pond. The Pond's been been improving upon their space-psych-Kraut-shoegazer
hybrid since the late 1980s. Year after year, album after album
of top-notch trippy fair, the Pond is now at the absolute height
of their powers - particularly since they added one of the most
explosive drummers out there - Jason Kourkounis who you may remember
for his top notch work over the years with Delta 72, Hot Snakes,
Scout Niblett, Mule, and a nummber of others. Not only do they continue
to distinguish themselves from their contemporaries with a droney
free approach, but their new addition makes them rock heavier than
