New York Night Train? conductor JONATHAN TOUBIN, climbed out of his cab in a gold bespoke Against Nature? suit and made his way through the crowd just in time to throw down an eclectic four-hour mix of exquisitely wild soul and r&b 45s. Somewhere in the middle of the party 100 dancers were numbered and Toubin’s tall Texan buddy AUSTIN BROWN of Parquet Courts? took over the DJ booth, The Afghan Whigs? /Mighty Fine’s STEVE MYERS got on the mic, and a distinguished panel of judges took the stage. This part of the evening climaxed with an exciting dance-off between two amazing winners giving it there all! 1st place walked away with $100 in cash and 2nd place got a $75 Metropolis Vintage shopping spree!
