BILL WHITTEN is the leader of Grand Mal - who released Grand Mal (1996) and Pleasure is No Fun (1997) with No 6 Records, Malediction (1999) with Slash/London, and Bad Timing with Arena Rock (2003). The new one, Love is the Best Con in Town, will appear on NYNT in March. Bill was also the leader of Sonic Youth-signed Geffen slacker noise band St. Johnny.

IVAN SUNSHINE , who can't see straight at the moment, is currently a member of New York beard-rockers Vietnam and the ethereal Moon and Moon. He's also a former member of the legendary Ghost Exits.
